The Gippsland Wedding Victoria of Emma and Benny was going to be a cracker. I could feel it!
Emma and Benny were introduced to each other at a costume party. Benny in full chicken suit, Emma in full catsuit. From what their friends tell me they hit it off immediately, and before the night was through, Emma and Benny had swapped costumes! From those few sentences alone I hope you have gathered just how much fun these two are, and what a great partnership. I met up with them months ago to discuss their photos and fell for the pair of them instantly. They are warm, welcoming and have a wicked sense of humour (it’s not often I have to tell my brides to stop photobombing).
On possibly the most perfect summers day I have ever seen in Victoria, Emma and Benny tied the knot then celebrated at Emma’s parents place in Gippsland.
I knew they’d have an interesting wedding when I first clocked Emma’s engagement ring. And check out Benny’s wedding ring. AMAZING!
Beautiful lady. Well, until you get your special face out for me…
Directly after the ceremony when we were all standing out the front of the church a small plane flew over (reeeeaaaaalllllyyyy low) and dipped its wings. It was amazing, one of the locals was giving Emma and Benny the nod.
Photobombed by the bride!
When I shoot I sometimes stuggle to get across what I mean, but I’ve hit on a few reference points. I asked Emma and Benny to channel Frankie Magazine, think “hipster”, if nothing else it made them laugh!
There is a story in Benny’s family about a dowry of goats, a theme that Emma and Benny took and RAN with. Emma grew up in potato farming country, so her dad Geoff was offering a dowry of spuds to the same value of the goats.
so so so so so so cute!
